"The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. "Great location for historic sites or Shenandoah national park. Host is very responsive, great spot with plenty to keep you busy when you've finished for the day. Great set of games, pool, ping pong, puzzles, arcade games, snacks, coffee. Enjoyed the stay and will be back if we're in the area."

"I’ve stayed in a lot of great VRBOs, but this is the most spotless house I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in! Not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere, and perfectly appointed and orderly. Beautiful view and private, but right off of Rte 29. Only 30 minutes from Charlottesville with many wineries and great places to eat in between. Jamie was responsive and flexible. Great getaway with girlfriends!"

"The house is old but looks newly painted inside. It boasts a good size kitchen, dining room and 4 double bedrooms. There is a first floor bedroom if someone can’t walk the stairs. We used the screened side porch a lot and the hot tub every night. The only thing needed to enjoy outside hot tub are lights for the stairs to the deck. Close to Blue Ridge Parkway and 20 minutes from Charlottesville. "

"So much of this trip was ideal. From attentive communication to easy check-in to a gorgeous setting, we appreciated it all. Take care with the driveway as rain has washed some small places away. "The stay was amazing. For being on a farm, the place is virtually spotless. Very clean. Super easy check in. The easiest check in ever. Lisa is a great host and you reallt feel welcomed. She knows a ton about each horse as well. The house was cool. You could easily communicate with each other anywhere in the house with a light yell but yet had enough space to relax.
