"I’ve never stayed in a motel that didnt have air conditioning. It was stuffy inside my room when I arrived.i opened the windows and door and it was better. This older motel is beside a very busy road and the noise is bad. It quieted down after dark and the temperature dropped outside so I could close the door and windows. I couldn’t get the tv to work. I don’t think I would choose this motel again."

"This once premier property is certainly showing its age. It's obvious the days of conventions and hundreds of guest are gone and the facility appears to be utilized at 10-15% of its capacity. We had a single king room - clean and spacious but the once-proud furniture is scratched and nicked with the base wood showing beneath the cherry veneer. Bed was comfortable, A/C was adequate but real loud when the compressor kicked on. Plenty of bar soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Loads of hot water...

"Beautiful little hotel right across the street from Old town. Very walkable. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Just know that 101 goes right in front of the hotel and there is some road noise. But all in all, a wonderful stay."

"Location was great. Advertised as Bay View, NOT A VIEW, the stairs going up to 2nd floor was our view. I would not have paid what I did but thought the price would be worth a view. Not one clock in the whole place. There was no ice machine on the property or even ice trays. The TV volume could not be turned up or down on remote or the actual TV. Bed was comfortable."

"Pictures were deceiving. 49-64 are the real look of the rooms. Smaller than it appears and there is no water front view. But it’s clean and updated. Fair for the price."
