Cozy Cabin on Rush Lake of the Whitefish Chain

Renting July only - Beautiful lake house located on Rush Lake on central Minnesota's coveted Whitefish Chain. This 1500 sf, four bedroom cabin has plenty of room and plenty of charm to go with it. Knotty pine interior and cottage furnishings give you the up north, cozy feel you desire. The property is beautifully landscaped with 190' of lakeshore giving you plenty of privacy. The large dock is a great place to spend the afternoon sunbathing, fishing, enjoying cocktails as the sun sets or just relaxing and listening to the loons. Two boats can easily tie up to the dock and there is a covered boat slip. Young children will enjoy playing on the jungle gym and swimming in the shallow water. The spacious screened porch affords you a fabulous view of the bay and lake and is a great place to have your morning coffee. At night enjoy a bonfire lakeside. There are many different seating areas on property to take in the great outdoors. On those occasional rainy days, there are board games to play and flatscreen TV's in every room. The Wharf Restaurant is a short walk away offering great food, signature cocktails, live entertainment, and a fuel dock. Other waterfront restaurants such as Zorbas, Moonlight Bay, and Manhattan Beach provide live entertainment and are within a short boat ride or drive away. The Crosslake city center is 2 miles away making it convenient to pick up last minute groceries, bait, fuel, souvenirs or ice cream.

Perfect lake getaway!

We had a wonderful time this week! The house was lovely, spotless with a well-stocked kitchen, grill, firepit and beautiful yard. Perfect for our teens and friends to enjoy the lake together. The host was very responsive so easy to coordinate with! We will definitely be back.

A great place for us in Crosslake! The cabin was exactly as shown. We so enjoyed the location near town, the screened in porch, large dock on quiet bay ( great for fisher people!) and having AC on hot muggy days. Communication was excellent with the owner. We loved it! Our only issue was the road noise on the weekend nights, but it was greatly reduced during the week We enjoyed time out on the many lakes on a rented pontoon and provided kayaks. Blue Heron, Bald Eagles and Common Loon sights and sounds were also enjoyed.

Perfect location on the Whitefish Chain

We had an absolutely wonderful week as a family… family of 5 with older teens along with Grandma and Grandpa… so 6 people total. We had so much fun on the water with our ski boat, fished off the dock (tons of sunfish), wild life watching ( loons, eagles, deer w babies who literally swam to the island right in front of us), kayaked, went for walks and enjoyed the bonfire pit at night! We walked to and from the Warf (one of our favorite places for a Bloody Mary and people/boat watching). This cabin was a perfect location and easy access to all things we may have needed in town. The cabin was clean, quaint, cozy and just right for our crew. We absolutely will stay here again one day! Michelle was super helpful and quick to answer any questions we may have had. Our stay here was awesome!

We had a great week at the cabin with our family. The cabin was in a perfect location for convenience to town, restaurants and shopping as well as in the heart of the chain. The quiet bay was perfect keeping our boat and for fishing as we caught a lot right off the dock! It was also a great property with a fire pit, large dock and play set. The two kayaks were also a great bonus!The cabin was appointed with everything you could need (more than any place we have stayed before) so that was great. It was nice to have two bathrooms as well - especially when having 8 people in the cabin. The owners were also very proactive in their communication and ensured we were having a great time. We will return!

Fantastic

Our family had a wonderful week here. Our grandkids had fun fishing off the dock, swimming and playing yard games. Boating was amazing, so many lakes and sand bars to enjoy. The canopy for our pontoon was also great.

Crosslake vacation

We had a wonderful time at this property! Great location and the house with everything it offered was just what we wanted. It has a great outdoor space we enjoyed, close to the ‘Wharf’ restaurant. The lakes were amazing! We were disappointed when our trip ended but look forward to coming back next year!

We had plenty of room for all of us, could sleep two more if we had people to sleep in the huge closet in the master bedroom. We are older so a hand rail to the dock would have helped us. Fire pit was very nice, the dock area was huge, we had family stop and we all had a place to sit. The weather was perfect, just a little haze from the fires but that didn’t stop us from sandbar time. Thanks again

Great getaway for all types of vacation needs.

We had a couple of people join us every couple of days and it was perfect. The lower trundle bed was not comfortable for sleeping for adults but for one night it worked out. We purchased our own firewood as none was ready (too big and not split on sight) Fire pit was great, view was amazing and we were not bothered by the road noise or the restaurant behind us. Lots of fishing available, nice size dock, quiet bay, well stocked appliances in kitchen for all cooking needs and plenty of bath towels (no beach towels). Motion detectors but could use more lighting. We would recommend and stay again.

Great Cabin

Convenient location to golf, boat, and to restaurants. dock platform was perfect for morning coffees and sunsets. Owners were helpful and easy to communicate with. Cabin, bedrooms, kitchen all very nice and the screened in porch was also a bonus!

Great for a get away

The cabin was perfect for our group of 6. The cabin was clean, up to date, and decorated nicely. We loved having a screened in porch, a large dock that fit many chairs, and a nice in-ground fire pit. The location is close to many things with the trade off being some road noise at times. Being on a bay, it was very peaceful to sit down on the dock.

Cute and comfortable cabin in Crosslake!

My family was happy and comfortable in this clean and well-cared for cabin. We loved the fire pit and grill and the easy access to the beautiful Whitefish chain of lakes. The four bedrooms and well equipped kitchen and two bathrooms was perfect for the ten of us who stayed. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the road noise, but we knew that it was near a busy road when we reserved it and would still rank the cabin very high because the positives out numbered that one negative. Thank you for for the lovely stay Ebanks!

August getaway

The cabin was great! It was great to have 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The living area was a little tight for 8 people but we managed. The lake was just a few short steps from the cabin which was awesome. The lake was weedier than I remember from 3 years ago, but the kids still had a great time. Fishing off the dock was great as we caught Northerns, walleye, catfish, perch, and all the little crappies you could ask for. The road traffic was a little noisy but if you closed the cabin doors, you couldn’t hear it at all. It was nice to be close to restaurants and bait stores, as well. The owners were very responsive to any questions I had. We had a great time! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

The best part for us was the nice flat beach and the slide and swing set for out young children. Also a pleasant surprise was the convince of The Wharf. The adult children could walk over there for a hamburger and drink.

Everything you need

We enjoyed our stay and did many things . Fishing off the dock, boating, using the fire pit, The facilities are great. The location is close to everything. I will rent this place again in the future.

Great Place on Crosslake!

Our family of 5 enjoyed staying at this property. The inside was spacious and cozy. The outside area was perfect! The screened porch and dock were our favorite spots. We rented a pontoon and loved exploring the beautiful Whitefish Chain. The location of the home was so convenient which made it easy for quick trips to town for groceries and ice cream! Great stay! Thanks!

Great house on a quiet inlet.

Great house on a quiet inlet and a short walk to The Wharf (bar and restaurant). I would recommend this place for families looking to have a house that sleeps 8 comfortably. Fire pit, beach, sand box and a very nice dock for everyone to enjoy.

Great Vacation!

My wife and I and our daughter's family ( with 2 teenagers) really enjoyed our stay at the property. One of the best things was the location. We could walk over to a restaurant on the water a short distance away for breakfast or any meal. Out the back we roasted marshmallows in the evening, the dock was great for just sunning, or fishing, or swimming. The accommodations were comfortable and roomy, slept well and really appreciated the relaxed atmosphere. Although it was close to a fairly busy road with some road noise during the day, that also made it convenient to go anywhere. It was close to several small towns and with a short drive we could go to some great restaurants and shopping. Thanks for the memorable vacation!
