"We loved this cabin, by the lake. It is beautifully setup inside and out. The kids loved staying up in the loft and they caught a bunch of sunfish right off the dock as well as a variety of others out on the lake. The pontoon and canoe were great. We will definitely make a return trip. Great family getaway!"

"Everything.was perfect at the white cabin. The location and qualities of the cabin are exactly as pictured. The setting is peaceful and serene positioned between Lake O'Brien and Goodrich lake. I loved looking at both lakes from the kitchen as they sparkled nearby. The Balmers are expert hosts and instantly responsive to any questions. Everything is perfectly maintained and in good working order making for a really comfortable vacation. We loved the pontoon and found that to be a great addition....

"The unit hadn't been cleaned since the previous people had been there. after voicemails and texts, the owner contacted us and was able to get ahold of the cleaning company to come and clean it 2 hours after we had arrived to check in. Once we came back after the cleaner had been there, it was very nice and clean and looked as it should."

"My husband and I took a long weekend trip up north to just get away and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It was very rustic and welcoming, and close enough to town for a game of golf, to grab floaties for the lake or any groceries or food. We would definitely love to stay again!"

"I had a group of women together for a get away weekend, and the cabin is incredible! Clean, spacious, great accommodations, beautiful lake. I just wish we could have had a later check out and earlier check in. But Doug was very accommodating."

"Our Christmas gift to our adult children, their spouses and new in-laws last year was the gift of spending time together. We rented the cabin Memorial Weekend and had 10 adults ranging from 21 to 85 yrs old. We also had 2 dogs. The cabin never felt crowded and had a really cozy feel. "This cabin needs a lot of TLC. Very old, has 3 AC units because you cannot open any of the windows, The patio door out to the plywood covered deck; not kid friendly, is the only option for fresh air. Microwave, oven, and coffee pot were not cleaned, and lots of cobwebs. Although the boat landing was quite convenient being next to the cabin, it was very shallow here and challenging hooking the boat up to the dock. Having a longer dock may be the answer. "Very clean, quiet and secluded. Would have been nice to have outdoor water and power. "Loved celebrating my birthday here. Got to see the northern lights! Great communication with the owner a few days prior. Let us check in a few hours early. Great access to the lake, had everything we needed to grill. Cabin was well kept, and clean. T.V, internet and lots of games to play. We will definitely be coming back with our 4yr old."
