"This was the best stay during our visit of sri lanka. We stayed there with our bigger kids and another family. The house has four rooms with AC. One with four beds which was perfect for the kids. The house and the Garden has several cosy places to stay and relax and have some space. My favorite place were the sunbeds overviwing the beach. The villa golden staff is just perfect. "The Hilltop Boosa is a wonderful find. The rooms are not just big they are huge. very clean and comfortable. Our hosts were both friendly & helpful. We ate here each night and the food was excellent. We borrowed bikes ans were able to explore the local area. Transport was available if we wanted to go further afield. We really could not fault anything about Hilltop and we hope to be able to return"

"The owner/host and housekeeping staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. They can arrange tuk tuk for the guests and home style food was so delicous. Due to its location, guests will need to have insects repellent spray applied at all time. Overall very nice stay at villa birdlake. "

"The property is situated in a peninsula in Kalutara on a road with almost no traffic, a pleasant surprise in such a busy (and wonderful) city. The beach is lovely, but not swimmable because of strong currents. The room was large and bright. The washroom was clean, and the shower was awesome. "Great accomodation and location, very quiet beach. But poor service. Staff, especially in the restaurant and bar, need better training and language skills. Hotel also tried to overcharge for the restaurant bill and had inconsistent policies regarding applying VAT and service charge on top of the bill, this varied between the various menus in the restaurant which is misleading for customers. "

"Leijay resort exceeded my expectations in many ways. The management and staff were very helpful and kind, the breakfasts were great and the environment was fantastic: a lovely pool, nice rooms and lots of birds and other wildlife all around. It is not next to Galle Fort, but it is easy to get to and from this quiet location to downtown. I will come back here!!"

"It's closer to Galle Fort. The staff are nice & helpful. But, all other facilities are basic and no hot water shower system and bath room is not clean. Old packets of tea / Coffee & sugar in the room. So, I couldn't make a cup of tea. "
