"A very nice place for our stay, close enough to Gulfport, Bay St. Louis and even New Orleans, but tucked away in a quiet location. Just a few suggestions; it was very hot out while we were there and the a/c could not keep up during the day, a few ceiling fans could cool the residence down and assist with the a/c. Next, even after scraping and pre-rinsing the dishes, the dishwasher did not get the dishes clean.Those were just minor suggestions and did not take away from the comfort of the house....

"Family beach weekend with two boys 11 and 15- they lived having their own space and we loved being close to the beach and the park! Very comfortable home- nice shady putdoor area in the back and we even met one of the neighbors- very nice!"

"We stayed at the Mason cottage for two weekday nights to explore all the HGTV Home Town sites. The cottage was clean, and everything was as promised. Check-in was seamless with no issues. Smart TV (Roku) was easy to use. Distance-wise, it was no problem to walk to the historic downtown. That said, in the immediate area there are some streets without sidewalks or painted crosswalks, so be cautious.Like most Vrbo rentals, it’s best to bring your own body wash and shampoo. The thing I liked best...

"Everything was perfect in the cottage! Super cozy and conveniently located to town! We rode the Amtrak in. Had lunch at Pearl’s diner. Shopped the shops and had dinner at the Loft! The people of Laurel are so kind and accommodating! "

"WONDERFUL vintage property! Excellent amenities: snacks; water; books; ice; coffee. VERY well-stocked kitchen and bathroom (several NICE, THICK towels and toilet paper). CLEAN! Comfortable beds and furniture! Extra bedding. Hot, wonderful shower (w/body wash; shampoo; conditioner). Roomy bathroom. If in area again, will definitely stay!"
