SATURDAY - SATURDAY RENTAL - NO EXCEPTIONS! Realtors always say, "Location, Location, Location..." to make a sale, but it is TRUE with this home location in Corolla.
Our beach house, "Southern C Salt" has four(4) bedrooms and two and half (2.5) baths and is located 1 minutes from the top of the dune beach access! Let the ocean sing to you from the wrap around decks in the evenings after a wonderful day in Corolla! Not only is the beach close, but with the bike trail along Route 12, your are only 0.5 - 0.8 miles away from shopping centers in either direction with 2 grocery stores, multiple restaurants and other shopping venues. We and guest have easily ridden bikes and walked to these shopping centers!
On the beach level you will find a Hot Tub, a Gas Grill, Corn-hole Boards, Outdoor Showers and a Pub Table with chairs to enjoy. The upper level(living areas) renovated the spring of 2020 with fresh paint, a 55" large screen TV and modern sectional sofa in seating area is well designed for family vacations. The adjoining kitchen has been refreshed with: white cabinets, granite counter tops, new back-splash, luxury vinyl tile flooring, new appliances and all new lighting. There is also the upper level deck with polywood furniture and a screened in porch with picnic table for dining off the kitchen with beautiful sunsets. This floor also has a newly renovated half bath for your convenience. The sleeping quarters are all on the second floor and were remodeled in the 2021-2022 off season. The rooms are: 2 King bedrooms, a Queen bed/bunk bed room(shark décor and known as the Shark Room) all with a mid-level deck entrance, and a two-twin bed with trundle bedroom (flamingo décor and known as the Flamingo Room). All bedrooms have carpet, TV and closets. Pack-n-play and highchair is also available. The sleeping quarters floor has two full baths totally remodeled spring of 2023. The master bath has a 48 x 72 walk in shower, new double vanities and a separate toilet room. The second bath has a soaking tub & shower combo. There is a full sized washer and dryer on this floor also. This floor has the mid-level wrap around deck for everyone to enjoy.
We are in a multi-year renovation on this home but since our purchase in 2020 it has come a long way to be great vacation time for our family and yours.

Shopping and restaurants are nearby. Attractions nearby: Currituck Beach Lighthouse, Historic Corolla Chapel and Village, Corolla Wild Horses, Knott's Island Ferry, and H2OBX Waterpark at Powell's Point

Great for long days on the beach. Quick walk, 2 outdoor showers, good supply of hot water! The top floor was cozy and clean for relaxation and bathrooms/bedrooms were clean!

We love the location and convenience of this lovely beach house. We also appreciate how clean it was. The updated bathrooms are very tasteful. We spent a good amount of time on the balconies. Thank you for another enjoyable stay, Buzz!

This was a week-long vacation for 4 childhood friends who have all just turned 50. No kids, no souses, lots and lots of beach time. This house was EXACTLY what we wanted and we had a wonderful stay! Buzz (the owner) could not have been more helpful when we had questions. The house is gorgeous and exactly as advertised. The new bathrooms are particularly lovely, and I know they have more upgrades planned so I'm hoping we can come back and see those someday, too! We're not going to wait until 60, though, that's for sure.

We had the best week! The house was very clean and spacious. We loved the open kitchen and dining/living area. We love to cook and all be together. The kitchen was well stocked and the home had great appliances. We didn’t know there was a drink fridge and wine cooler, which was a pleasant surprise. The hottub was perfect because we had some cool nights. The location is perfect. Just a short walk to the beautiful beach and even though the beach seemed crowded looking either direction, our part of the beach was never very busy. We always had room to set up and enjoy the day on the sand. We loved the outdoor showers (with warm water!) to rinse off before jumping in the hottub or just to rinse the sand from the day. All of the beds were clean and very comfortable. The new updates are absolutely gorgeous. The big walk in shower is to die for! There’s ample room for parking, plenty of outdoor porch to enjoy the sun and the sound of the waves. Communication was very easy and I got a very quick response with the few questions I had. Close to a grocery store and anything you may need. We loved walking to Duck Donuts for donuts and coffee in the mornings. We love the area and will definitely be back here next year!

The house is clean and comfortable and the recent updates are great. The living area is bright and airy and the kitchen is well-equipped. The best part for us was the short walk to the beautiful beach! Loved having 2 outdoor showers. Close to stores, etc. but quiet. Buzz was easy to work with and responded promptly. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at C Salt. The house is beautiful, spacious, and close to the beach, just as described. It was a well-supplied kitchen for group meals. Buzz was very responsive. Thanks again, hope we can stay there again!

Beautiful and spacious with all the modern conveniences and extra touches. Comfortable beds with plenty of room in the bedrooms. Loved the screened porch and decks. Lots of up and down stairs but didn't mind the exercise! The hot tub was enjoyed

The homeowner was a great communicator, the house was clean, the beds were comfortable, it was so nice to have 2 outdoor showers, we had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. The location close to the beach, grocery stores, shopping, the lighthouse etc. was wonderful too! It is a great vacation home away from home!

We enjoyed the perfect quiet location with street leading to a culdesac and walkway over the dune to direct beach access. House is well taken care of and very clean! Communication with the owner was better than any other rental I have ever had and Buzz went above and beyond to be sure we had a wonderful experience despite a small hiccup with the AC on day one. He was on it before we even arrived and followed through to be sure everything was perfect. Highly tecommend Southern C Salt for your next trip.

This is the third trip for us to Corolla and the third house we've rented. Each of the previous two were okay, but had issues that caused us to look elsewhere the following year. This house however, was just right. We had a total of 4 adults and 4 children, though with the trundle bed, 5 children could easily sleep comfortably here. The house has recently been remodeled, so everything was clean and had a more modern vibe than other houses. There was plenty of space and a great screened in porch with a large table that we were all able to enjoy dinner on. There was a gas grill with an extra 20lb propane bottle in case the attached one ran out, a large kitchen, jacuzzi (which we didn't use) and even a cornhole set for entertainment. The location is fantastic - easily walkable to the beach while also very close to Harris Teeter and Timbuck II. In addition to all of this, the host was a pleasure to deal with and stayed in communication with us throughout our stay to remind us to bring linens, which days were trash days, and just to make sure we were comfortable. We were even provided a nice personalized note and welcome gift. Our family will absolutely look at this property again next year if we return to Corolla.

We had a great vacation here and would highly recommend this property. The location is ideal a very close walk to the beach. We loved that we were so close for biking to restaurants, shops, and we even biked to lighthouse. The kitchen was lovely, but could use a good chopping knife. We struggled with cutting veggies, fruit, and chicken when preparing meals.

Our family enjoyed a great week at Southern C Salt. The house is very clean and well-appointed and has a terrific layout with a bright common area on the third floor where everyone can enjoy company and nice rooms on the second floor. Hot tub is great. A stone's throw to the beach and also conveniently located near shopping centers and grocery stores. Would not hesitate to stay again!

An easy, 60 second walk to the beach. Kitchen was well-equipped. Great living space with a large, comfy couch that can fit the whole family. Board games in the cabinet by the table, cornhole set outside to the right of the showers (bean bags in the kitchen closet). Comfortable beds and a good sized washer and dryer. A short, easy drive to the grocery store. We enjoyed our time at the beautiful Southern C Salt.

I stayed with my family for a much needed vacation. We enjoyed the area and the close proximity to the beach. The natural lighting was beautiful, the 3-sided porch was a highlight and the upper level was beautifully renovated. As we settled in and began utilizing some of the amenities though, we discovered a few maintenance issues. The owners were quick to get back to us and maintain communication. However, nothing was resolved during our stay. Renters beware: don’t allow the exhaustion from your travels deter you from making a thorough inspection of your rental and all its appliances/amenities the moment you arrive. Report all findings at that time. A few days after returning home, I was informed that a claim was made with the travel insurance for the issues we had reported to the owners. Again, these issues were discovered as we used the house’s amenities.

Our stay at Southern C Salt was wonderful. The property was well maintained and the owners were great with answering our questions and any concerns. It is a very quick walk to the beach and we loved sitting on the deck and listening to the ocean.

We had a fantastic week ! Unfortunately we had the hurricane but fortunately it didn’t ruin our vacation. The owners were very good about communicating storm information to us and advising us on how to prepare. The storm came and went and we had a blast! We passed the time during the storm by playing corn hole under the house and relaxing in the hot tub. We loved the decks and it’s only a very short walk to the beach. We also loved riding bikes on the paved trail . The house is close enough to ride bikes to get ice cream and mini golf. Thanks for a great week, we will definitely return next year!
