"We loved staying at this quaint hotel. Staff were courteous, helpful & efficient. Perfect location for our needs, with a great brunch. Comfortable beds with 4 pillows each. Shower has strong pressure. Very clean. Really enjoyed our visit there and will definitely stay here again!"
"The bathtub was full of hair and there was garbage still. Also we got food poisoning from the attached resturant that was recommmended. Absolutely filthy room and no blankets pillows or towels"
"Very clean well maintained, great location, staff were very helpful, kind . Beware there is no microwave, but several places to dine within walking distance. Also if you have mobility issues, there is no elevator. I would recommend this place for a decent hotel"
"The Rod has more character than anywhere else you will ever stay. The linens were all amazing, shower was wonderful, and it is super easy to get around if you have a car. Also had no problems with getting food delivered to my door. Found the fridge very useful as well as nice & cold!"

"This is a great example of glamping (glamorous camping) and if we were 20 years younger, it would have been a fun, quirky adventure. It is a tiny house experience with a lofted bed you reach by ladder and a remarkably effective port-a-potty kind of toilet. The location is amazing and the property is fun. Unfortunately for us, we’re not 20 years younger and the ladder ended up defeating me. If you’re flexible and athletic - give this a try! It’s a definite improvement over a tent "
