"Excellent place to stay. We were on a family road trip and slept in multiple hotels on our way, this by far the best of them all. The location is great if you want to explore the historic district which is 15 mins away. The rooms smelled amazing, everything was very neat and clean. They have an excellent complementary breakfast that made the stay such a wonderful experience for the kids and us. This is our favorite new hotel to revisit! "

"Excellent , perfect add on to my Charleston french quarter trip. Beware the bad reviews are old, for a minute I was in doubt and after was very happy I made it. The hotel was renovated recently. Staff was extremely friendly starting from Holly at front desk and Lucas and Lucy at lodge and helping around. I was recovering from a broken foot and they made their best to acomodate my needs. The room is charming and comfortable and the grounds beautiful. Middleton place is a short walk away and...

"What a great place to stay the rooms are large clean comfortable. Everyone is very nice and efficient. I requested a pillow. It was there in 10 minutes. The breakfast was delicious and a lot to choose from and the property is spacious and lovely."

"I must say I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff was very friendly upon checking in and throughout my stay. Room was clean well equipped if you plan on staying multiple days. I wasn’t very hungry but decided to go to breakfast anyway and I’m glad I did. They had grits, eggs, sausage, cereal, and waffles and more! Definitely a 10/10 "

"I think the rooms could use remodeling. The hole in the sink was extremely dirty, the skirt for the mattress was stained, the lobby had a weird stench, my ac made an extremely loud whining noise to where as I had to knock it with my hand to quiet it down and the room didn't smell fresh upon entry. The curtain was also extremely old and long so if I closed the curtain for black out, it would block the ac unit. The ac unit was very rusted at the bottom and stains on the wall and ceiling. "Room was clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. Air conditioner worked great. Even the coffee in the room was decent."

"O hotel é ótimo, tudo muito limpo e com aspecto geral excelente, inclusive atendimento O café da manhã é básico, mas saboroso !! . A localização, porém, deixou a desejar. Muito distante da área turística de Charleston, num local com trânsito intenso, difícil de chegar. No geral a permanência foi muito boa !!! "

"My complaint was some of the things I expected weren’t in the kitchen. Only a few dishes for example, no dish cloth to wash the dishes. The toilet seat was broken. Shampoo, but no body was in the dispensers. Only on hook in the bathroom. I love the concept of this suite but poorly executed."
