"Plenty of space in the unit we stayed in. The place is older but very clean and comfortable. Extra towels available for our group. Plenty of places for fishing nearby and their freezer space was convenient. Will be back in the future."

"We had a great time at this cabin. We rented the River and Bear cabin when we had family in town. Everyone had a good time. Very relaxing. There were a lot of bald eagles nearby, up to four at one point. My kids enjoyed fishing in the river. The fireplace overlooking the river was amazing, and the decks really let you relax and soak in the scenery. "

Amazing view of and access to the Kenai River! Only drawbacks are: road noise since you are on the busy Sterling Highway and no table inside to play games or sit everyone around for a meal. Outside picnic table is provided. Also, step up into the bedroom and bath area from the LR/kitchen is a bit hazardous...

"I loved the cabin we stayed in. It was perfect for us and our daily adventures. I met the owner and he was such a great and friendly guy. I asked him where I could find a bakery for blueberry muffins. He said him and his wife would make them. He told me to come up to the office at 0800 the next morning. He made breakfast for me and my family which of course included blueberry muffins. Such wonderful people. Thank you again so much."

"This place was the perfect place for solitude and family connection. The little cabin was efficient and perfectly appointed. It felt secluded, but it was just a short drive to Seward, which is fun and vibrant. I almost cried when we left and I vow to return one day. Side note: there was mention in the description of no cell service unless you have Verizon, but our Spectrum service there worked perfectly—even though you should not want to be on a phone in such a special place. "

"Lori’s home was just what we needed. Comfortable beds, beautiful yard, and plenty of parking. It’s a good distance from town, so be sure to have what you need when you head there. My only suggestion is to offer a few more spices/sugar for coffee. In short, we were very happy with our stay, "

"This cabin seriously blew me away with the uniqueness that it was built with. The host gave us a tour of all of his custom built cabins that he has on the property and was thoughtful enough to gift us a bottle of champagne for my girlfriend’s birthday. "A cozy cabin with all the essentials but running water AKA Dry. Comfortable queen bed, pull out couch and a loft with couple of coats which we did not need or used. Small fridge and microwave. Chuck had a freezer in the cabin and allowed us to store our salmon during the stay. Chuck and Dorothy were gracious in setting up a propane cook top outside and also provided a pot, pan, dishes and cutlery which were perfect for the two of us making breakfast and dinner. "The house is great. Many neat touches. Owners spent a lot of time and effort to make a nice home. Crossing the railroad tracks to get to lake added to the experience. Only item that makes us not give it a 10 rating is the stairs to the door from parking area. Suggestion would be a landing area to manage luggage and top stair needs to be leveled."
