"Really nice hotel in a great location. The review would have been a 5 but for the fact of the most ridiculous system is in place on the bar for food. I ordered an appetiser and a main course stating it was a starter followed by ,,,,,,, To my surprise they came out together. "Excellent stay at this lovely hotel. The bedroom was very clean. Staff are very pleasant and made our stay very enjoyable. The meal we had was top notch and couldn't fault any of it. Breakfast the following morning was also very enjoyable, served piping hot and delicious. There is ample free parking on site too which is a great bonus with the hotel being on the high street. We would highly recommend the Red Lion and wouldn't hesitate to return!"
