We stayed from July 29 to Aug 1 while attending the AAU Junior Olympics. The home appeared ideal at first, but the stay was uncomfortable and disappointing. The upstairs AC wasn’t working properly the first night—my children slept in 82 degrees due to unclear thermostat instructions. No functioning TVs upstairs; one was unplugged and leaning against furniture, so we all shared one small TV on the main floor. The bathroom connecting my son and daughter’s rooms had no locks for privacy. My 72-year-old mother stayed in the downstairs master suite because she can’t use stairs. Unfortunately, the shower and tub didn’t work, so she had to wash up daily. There was a large hole in the bathroom floor and she encountered several roaches.I stayed across the hall in a room with no dresser or nightstand. I had to use a kitchen chair to place my CPAP machine.Furniture was scratched and worn, toiletries were used with peeling labels, and the kitchen had old, heavily used cookware. The pool area was not as pictured. The host responded to my AC concern but dismissed it, claiming there had been no prior complaints. For 1,800 for three nights, I expected better. I have photos to support everything in this review and too many more concerns to post here.
