"Well, it is a small place right on the trail. No front desk but the connected grocery store was very helpful. Check in was a breeze, although leaving my bike in the lobby made me nervous. Thankfully a helpful staff person assured me it would be ok and it was! While the store doesn't sell beer, they pointed me to a little restaurant bar two blocks away and James the bartender was the best. Good burger, fries, and cold beer! "This was the second time my husband and I stayed at Trailside Hotel, and unfortunately this was a drastically different experience than the first. "The property was clean and well-kept, and very stylish! The hosts had impeccable communication and even had a welcome guide complete with how to operate their fancy thermostat! Pet-friendly, and our dogs loved the back area for walks, even if they weren't so fond of the open staircase! If you are a lighter sleeper, the front bedroom does have some noise from the road in front the house on Friday nights, but it wasnt bad after I got off to sleep. "
