O que fazer em Condado de Charleston

Carolina do Sul

On a beautiful day like this one, it only makes sense to stroll through Waterfront Park and relax next to the Pineapple Fountain. Maybe grab an Italian ice on the way, since there is no shortage of vendors selling it around downtown Charleston.

One of America's oldest working plantations, continually growing crops for over 320 years. Situated near Charleston South Carolina, and listed on the National Register of Historical Houses.Boone Hall Plantation has been open to the public since 1956.
The McRae Family purchased the plantation in 1955 and it was Mrs. McRae who furnished the house with antiques and began giving tours. Today, the McRae Family still owns the property, and they continue to make improvements to the plantation so that visitors can experience what plantation life was like.
Folly Beach County Park in South Carolina has one of the darkest night skies that can be found without having to drive a billion miles into the middle of nowhere. It is a great place to watch the night sky (weather permitting). This tree at the end of the park is very special - it stands on it's own and makes for a great subject to photograph. Visit this location at low tides though since the far end of the park is inundated with tidal waters at high tide. You can also spot Dolphins close to the shore here - on this day, there was an entire group of them feeding just feet off the coast. Do carry lots of bug spray with you as the South Carolina bugs are out in murderous numbers on most nights.

As regards this image, it is a blend of 3 exposures to capture multiple Perseid meteors. Each exposure was @30 seconds @16mm focal length with an ISO of 3200.
