All of the amenities were so thoughtful from the cookies, the cozy bedding, instructions for all items like lights and appliances, you can tell this property was managed by an extremely thoughtful owner. "The house itself is lovely and well-appointed, with particularly modern and updated bathrooms. We appreciated the abundance of supplies—plenty of towels, dishes, silverware, and even a generous selection of spices. The backyard opens up to a serene lake, and the view is truly breathtaking. However, the yard itself felt cluttered, almost like a flea market, and could benefit from a thorough cleaning to match the beauty of its surroundings. "House was great. A lamp in the bedroom with the 3 twin beds would be a nice addition but everything else was top notch. The outside area with the hot tub and swings were amazing!!! Would def recommend this property to anyone in the area and would stay here again."

"What a terrific location to explore the Skagit Valley, Whidbey Island, Edison, Bow, Bellingham, Ferndale, and beyond! We even made it to Lake Diablo and Artist’s Ridge in the North Cascades. The house has everything! Our family loves the comfy living areas and well stocked kitchen. The linens and towels were great and everything was so very clean! We highly recommend this wonderful home! "Was a lovely place to stay for some days riding at Mt Baker with the family. The host was great communicating the details and it was pretty much as close as you can stay to the mountain. There was a great trail we hiked with the dogs too. Only downside was the internet was very slow, I’d love to see them upgrade to Starlink so we could get our work done a bit quicker."

"We really enjoyed our stay and Susanne was a great host. She was very prompt with any questions that arose. She even greeted us at the house and gave us a backstory to a rich family history depicted on photos hanging on the wall. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, plates and cups. The gas fireplace was a nice touch to keep us cozy and warm. Very close to Mt. Baker for access to skiing/sledding. We would definitely stay here again in the future."
