"Jen helped me with my bags and took the time to talk. A lovely woman. She’s so welcoming. The room and bathroom were as spotless as always. The bed and pillows are always so comfortable and the location is right in town so you can walk everywhere. The lake is a short drive as well as hiking trails. I love the old hardwood floors , and comfy furnishings in the common areas. The kitchen is so spacious and has 2 stoves , big fridge and anything you need from Brita coffee makers to plates cups and...

"The Rodmay Hotel has potential: it is definetely a heritage building and has some beautiful furniture but there is a lot of work to be done. It was clean and quiet but: 1. it took a long time for the hot water to arrive. 2. we couldn't shut the bathroom door. 3. the bathroom sink was very tiny with no counter space 4. the air was a bit stuffy."
