"This house lives up to its billing and reviews.  The isolation- even from neighbors- was wonderful, and the cabin quite comfortable.  Everything was nice and new.  We were impressed with the size of the kitchen, and were able to cook some elaborate meals.  The one night we didn't have cloud cover the sky was mind-blowing.  Even though the house is 500 road miles from our home, it's likely we'll come back."

"Wonderful little cottage on the shore of a pond near Acadia National Park.The cottage is well equipped with everything necessary for short stays and it is very cozy and comfortable, up to 5 people. Furnitures are not new, but everything works and gives the feeling of being out in the Woods. The location is amazing and it allows to great dawns and sunsets on the pond.Ideal for lazy days, we would absolutely recommend it. "

"For the last 20 or so years we have rented houses in downeast Maine-three couples who have been friends for far longer. This house was one of the most well thought out, with comfortable furnishings in good condition, beautiful harbor views, and a well equipped kitchen which is as big as it looks in the photos. "Everything couldn't have been more perfect! The host was outstanding-- she even started a fire in the wood stove for us so that the cabin would be toasty when we arrived after a day of hiking in Acadia. The place itself is exactly as described and if anything even nicer. I wish I could live there! The lake was gorgeous, the beds comfortable and the stars were amazing. Can't wait to go back! "

"I loved it! I used this as a base camp to go hiking in Acadia NP, and it was perfect for that, but I also could have spent my entire two days at the property and been very content. As it was, I slept deeply on my air mattress in the loft and watched the beautiful sunrises while sitting at the shore and while eating breakfast at the table inside. We really enjoyed our stay at Josh and Megan’s cute home.We didn’t mind driving an hour to the main Acadia entrance and Bar Harbor since Corea is close to the Schoodic entrance of Acadia.This is our third stay near Acadia NP and second stay in Corea. For us, this quiet fishing town feels like the real Maine. There are many wonderful restaurants nearby and the Corea Co-op makes getting fresh lobster for dinner very easy.As for the house, it was very warm thanks to mini splits...
