The Great Plains House is designed with both comfort and convenience in mind. Enjoy a single-level layout with an open, split floor plan—ideal for families or groups. The home includes three well-appointed bedrooms and two full bathrooms, including a private ensuite in the master.

Work remotely with ease from the master bedroom’s ergonomic sit-stand desk setup. The fully remodeled kitchen comes equipped with modern appliances, cookware, and dining essentials, perfect for preparing meals at home.

Relax in the spacious backyard featuring a private hot tub, outdoor dining area, and ample seating. Stay comfortable year-round with central AC and heating, and enjoy entertainment on the smart TV with high-speed Wi-Fi.

To ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable stay for all, we require a quick digital screening via Truvi and a simple electronic rental agreement, along with a $300 refundable security hold on your credit card prior to booking confirmation. Similar to renting a car or staying at a hotel, this process takes just a minute and helps us maintain a high-quality experience, keeping our home protected and ready for you and future guests.
House Rules – These requirements help keep the home clean, safe, and ready for the next guest. Pay it forward!

Trash - The bin is kept on the side of the house. You will need to take this bin to the street every week before 7 AM on Thursdays and put it back along the side of the house or else HOA violations will be assessed and passed on to the guest. Tip, place it out the night before if you don’t want to get up that early.

Parking - Parking is only allowed in the driveway or garage for overnight parking. No overnight parking on the street.

No pets allowed. No exceptions.

While we encourage you to spend time with friends and family at the house, there are no house parties allowed. Maximum occupancy during non-quiet hours is twelve (12) persons.

Overnight guest occupancy is restricted to a maximum of six (6) persons.

Quiet hours are from 10 PM until 7 AM.

Check out is by 11 AM on your day of departure.

Comfy place

This little home was as advertised. It is well-furnished, kitchen is well-stocked with quality cooking supplies, dishes, glasses, etc. Appliances are new. Beds are very comfortable with nice bedding. We very much enjoyed our month and recommend it. We would stay there again!

Great stay

Josh was very easy to communicate with. He took care of any needs we had. The house was in a great location, clean, and comfortable. Other than a hiccup on not being able to check in at the time I was supposed to everything was wonderful.

Great Plains stay

The property was a great place for my employees to stay while working on a project in Colorado Springs. Josh was quick to respond when there were questions or concerns about the property. We were able to extend the stay when the project went longer than expected. Josh made the process for check in and check out easy.

Great Choice

We had a very nice 30-day stay in this rental. The house is in a nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood. It is reasonably convenient to many places in the area that are worth visiting. The house itself is large, comfortable, well laid out, and efficient. The king bed was very comfortable (we didn’t use the others). The kitchen was well equipped with plates, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, etc. There is a very nice outdoor space to enjoy - with a very nice view of Pike’s Peak - a bonus we thoroughly enjoyed. There is a hot tub on the patio that we didn’t use but it looked very clean and well maintained. The host is exceptional. We arrived to find a recent wind storm blew the grill off the patio and into pieces. Within days, a new grill was delivered and assembled by their property manager, Sam - also exceptional. We needed some supplies to help keep the home clean and the host was again quick to provide what was needed. In short, I believe this host will do anything within reason to make sure you have a good stay. We were very happy with this choice for our stay in Colorado Springs. We would stay here again without question.

Great family getaway

Josh's place is perfect for a family getaway in a perfect neighborhood. So close to grocery, coffee, and so many cool restaurants. Walking anywhere is fabulous. The view from the back windows is gorgeous, where else can you see Pikes Peak from your window? The house was spacious enough for our little family, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and eating meals at the big dining table was perfect. Wifi was okay, working from here was doable. No issues with power or weather related issues. A very good stay in a great neighborhood ( used to live 2 blocks over years back). Really, really comfortable. I recommend this place to anyone. We'll be back!!

We can recommend this proprty

We stayed at this property for 3 months while shopping for a house. We had a couple of issues which the owner addresses in a timely manner. The location is close to shopping and restaurants, major streets are about a mile away and I 25 is about 5 miles away.
