"1st vacation in years for "us Grandparents". Honestly, just looking towards the western sunset made our stay excellent. My wife and I only drove a couple of hours for this stay and we would have traveled much further (if needed). Overall, it felt like a home (away from home) for us. "We truly enjoyed our stay. The location and access to the lake was excellent. Easy check in. Might want to bring a full sized knife and all seasonings/oil you’ll need to cook, but otherwise it worked well to prepare our meals as needed. We appreciated the fans to help take the edge off as it was pretty warm weather during our visit. Took a little bit for the ac to cool in all the upstairs rooms. Loved having a kayak we could use. "This was our second trip to this house on Rose Lake. The house is well stocked, very comfortable, and just as described. We love the crib for our littlest and the space to spread out for the rest of us. The swimming off the dock and sandy bottom made for excellent memories! Looking forward to coming back again soon."

"It was pleasant. Very quiet and wonderful view of the lake. Excellent fishing. I had a few things that required online access to complete, so I selected a locations that listed wifi. Unfortunately the wifi was extremely slow so U had a hard time sending email. That said if you want a remote spot where you feel left alone to fish, this is great. Most people do not rent a lake cabin for the internet access though..."

"We had a great time in Union City. The view from the deck overlooking the lake is pretty spectacular. The house had plenty of space with its 4 bedrooms. It was also nice taking the boat out during the day for suntanning, and in the morning for fishing. "
