During the dry season, a regular car is good even though a 4x4 is ideal for fully exploring the natural beauty and attractions Santa Teresa has to offer!
"Nido del Mar" is a 3-bedroom home located on the top floor of a small 4 story condominium. There are 2 bedrooms with king-size beds, 1 with a queen-size bed, and 2 bathrooms. A fully equipped open space kitchen, cozy living room, and a large balcony that connects all the spaces, creating an indoor-outdoor living experience with spectacular views.
Getting around is easy: itās just a 2-minute walk to the pool, 3 minutes to restaurants and cafes, and 5 minutes to the beach. You can take the stairs to explore, but parking is conveniently located on an upper level, so you will only need to go down one flight of stairs to reach the apartment.

- Animals & Insects: Get ready to see wildlife in its natural habitat! Howler and white-faced monkeys often pass through the trees next to house, along with iguanas and raccoons! Being in Costa Rica, you might also spot harmless insects like ants, cockroaches or geckos, especially during the rainy season. Donāt worry, this is just part of the tropical environment, not a cleanliness issue!
- Power Outages: Power cuts are common in Santa Teresa and you may experience them during your stay. This is a normal part of the local environment.
- Humidity: Santa Teresa has an average annual relative humidity of 74%, with peaks up to 87% in October and lows around 71% in February. This high humidity can make it difficult for clothes to dry, especially during the rainy season. Itās completely normal for clothing to take longer to dry in these conditions.
