"Although expensive, we splurged on a room with a balcony, fire place, and hot tub. It was so quiet and comfy. We enjoyed the wrap around balcony with the view of Lake Superior and the light house. If you would like to be located in Canal Park this was the best place to stay. The free breakfast was very tasty with plenty of warm food with make your own waffles. "I really liked this hotel. Very welcoming and relaxing. Staff were also very nice. Bed was soo comfortable and the hot tub was awesome. They even had a cool arcade and their own bar and bakery. The Lyric bar was delicious. I loved the mashed potatoes most of all! "
