"Everything was excellent and the room was lovely apart from one member of staff in the restaurant who didn’t seem like she was interested or could be bothered with the job. When one of us ordered the mixed grill in the restaurant she asked how we wanted it and then we had to find out what she meant and finally she said it was the steak, rather than just asking how we wanted the steak cooked. Also as a separate note we asked what beers you had on draught and were asked if we meant beer or lager...

"Quirky, non corporate joy. Like a breath of fresh air, they do things their way. Real people, not the identical robots normally churned out by capitalism. I loved it! Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was great value. Great staff"

"Stayed one night as a party of 4 two separate rooms each with 2 double beds and ensuite bathrooms...the rooms were spotless beds were super comfortable staff were very helpful and friendly when in sheffield again i wont stay anywhere else."

"Very friendly, yet professional staff, also very efficient, the room was exceptionally clean, in all areas and all the room facilities were excellent........there was an excellent choice for breakfast, catering for everyone, everything was fresh, the cooked food was hot and a great choice of drinks, hot and cold.......we didn't use the bar, but it looked very clean with a good range of drinks.......all in all a very enjoyable stay and we'll definitely be back, thank you. "Have stayed here a number of times and it never disappoints. Staff are great. Clean and comfortable rooms. Easy parking. Dining on site. "

"The room is well renovated and everything works, mainly the shower. The breakfast is excelent, but expensive. There are some work in progress on the square in front of the reception, with the street interrupted, so the taxis and ubers sometimes don’t come to the right place. But it is a good location anyway to walk to the nice city centre of the (former) “steel city”, already converted to pedestrian streets. There was a fire alarm once in an ungodly hour, with everybody using the stairs to go...

"Excellent overnight stay, lovely helpful staff (especially when we accidently locked ourselves out in the night). Did have an issue with the cleaner coming in despite paying extra for a late check out but this was apologised for sinse rally and even given another hour to get ourselves ready. Will be back next time I'm in Sheffield, for sure!"
