"Lovely proprietor. Cooked breakfast was great, a pity that on last day we couldn't have it because of staffing problem. Attractively decorated property"

"Lovely place and rooms were great. Some of staff didn’t know how to check us in It’s a pub, and luckily we had booked for food… the pub was very food dominated and wouldn’t have felt comfortable just drinking… food was good and place lovely though"

"Lovely hotel, friendly staff and warm comfortable rooms. Restaurant fare however was disappointing and overpriced for a hotel of this quality. Breakfast on the other hand was extensive and very good."

"A handy spot in the center of town. Only discrepancy was a bunch of takeaway bags behind the door the cleaners missed, however it was no problem for me to put in the bin. Lovely rooms, comfy beds and bathroom was great. Staff were lovely and able to give a friendly chat and directions to the room."

"Muito limpo, confortável, com disponibilidade para late check in. O pub ao lado é uma mais valia para o pequeno almoço ou para o jantar. Com bom estacionamento"

"Excelente hotel com quarto contendo geladeira, fogão, pia, máquina de lavar louça. Eles precisam melhorar o sinal da internet no quarto."

"Muito bom. A única coisa que desagrada são as escadas. Mas o senhor que nos atende foi muito gentil e carregou as malas."

"Everything was fine and as expected When we arrived the receptionists said breakfast was included - I queried as was certain we had booked without. BUT I was told breakfast was included. Lo and behold when we went down for breakfast, we were not booked in… this was annoying given the assurances we were given at check in!"

"Very clean and large rooms"

"Room was clean. Bit noisy being on the front of the building nearest the road."
