Girls weekend

This property is in a quiet picturesque location. Itā€™s exactly as described in the listing. There is good parking. Part of it is on a slope but itā€™s fully paved and looks very nice. The cabin was very clean. Itā€™s perfect for a small family or girls weekend. We couldnā€™t use the fire pit because it kept raining. The fireplace in the house was pretty and added a nice ambiance. The kitchen was fully stocked. The owner communicated well. When I asked about the kitchen she went and took videos. There were no issues getting in. Everything worked as described. We did lose power once while we were there but it came back on pretty quickly. We had to reset one fuse for the outlets in the kitchen. The fuse box was well labeled. The deck was beautiful! We enjoyed dinner outside. There was a grill but we didnā€™t use that. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend!

Cozy Birthday getaway

The cabin was beautiful! It was very clean and the location was very convenient for visiting Ellijay, Dahlonega, and Helen. It was very cozy and the windows in the living room gave such a beautiful view in the mornings. There were five of us and the space was very comfortable. We all enjoyed a quiet weekend celebrating our birthdays. Will definitely like to come back here on another trip!

Great Cabin!

Stayed here for 4 nights and cabin is as clean, as equipped, and as great as described. We have been to Dahlonega for 4 years in a row and have stayed in different cabins. This one by far is the best one we stayed at. We loved the layout, all the common areas are on the same level so no need to take stairs which is a huge plus! Great views of the nearby mountains from the plenty of windows. Our host was extremely responsive and kind enough to allow us to check in a bit sooner. The cabin is situated within 15-20 minutes of all the main vineyards and downtown square and in a very quiet neighborhood. Has all the amenities needed to include enough firewood to have nightly bonfires. Great cabin and priced extremely reasonable. We hope to be back.

At home away from home...

From the moment we walked in the door I felt sooo welcome. The fireplace was glowing, the Christmas tree was lit and the view of the mountains was beautiful.It was cozy but spacious feeling all at the same time and the thoughtful touches everywhere...like a garland of reindeer strung from the bunk beds made this get together at Christmas time very charming and serene. I loved this place the moment I stepped in the door. Can't wait to visit again in the hopefully near future. Thank you Beverly

The communication was fantastic throughout the entire process. Cabin was very well decorated and very clean. It was perfect for two couples. We loved the location in between several cities. We would definitely be back.

The host was reachable and very helpful. We were also given permission to arrive earlier than the listed check-in time so we could refrigerate flower girl flower pedals for my son's wedding the following day. We had everything we needed during our stay, everything worked properly, decorated lovely, great water pressure which is always a top priority for me and my family, we loved that both rooms had king sized beds which are hard to find in two bedroom rentals, and I would love to rent again on a less stressful non- wedding weekend so we would have time to enjoy back porch sitting a little longer.

We could not have asked for anything more. The cabin is in excellent condition and is stocked with everything you could need. The host provided great communication and was so welcoming. It was a perfect location for our Christmas visit to downtown Dahlonega.

Relaxing Getaway

The Screaming Goat was perfect for our stay! We arrived in the middle of the night, and the hostess left the Christmas tree and the fireplace on. It was so beautiful and cozy to walk into. The house is decorated so nicely for the holidays, and the overall decor is stunning. It's even better than the pictures! We definitely enjoyed the cabin and are looking forward to returning.

Beautiful home for a nice weekend with my kiddos!!

My son had his State Raider JROTC meet in Dahlonega and me and my kids wanted to make a weekend out of it. I found this beautiful new home and we had the best time cooking and watching movies together. It is a gorgeous little house with lots of windows and nothing but peace and quiet. We really enjoyed the firepit and there was even smores left out for us to make by the fire. We will probably stay again for next years meet if it is available. Very clean and absolutely beautiful home. Thank you for opening up the house to us and for being so great to book through.

Adorable little getaway house in the mountains. The house is so new that some kitchen gadgets still were in boxes and with stickers still on! Perfectly decorated, cozy, CLEAN. Itā€™s not a large house but so thoughtfully laid out. Beautiful details in the decor. Communication was easy and good. Location was fantastic, in a neighborhood with paved roads but feels secluded. Great porch and new furniture there. Itā€™s even better than the photos. Fire pit was set up and a basket of smore supplies and roasters where awaiting us. Would totally recommend and hope to make another visit.
