Superb holiday villa in an idyllic location. with private pool near the village of Claviers in Provence. The comfortable villa is located in a quiet area on the edge of the picturesque village. From the terrace you have a magnificent view over the valley, the hills and the village. The beautiful swimming pool is located lower in the ground. There is a summer kitchen with a covered terrace equipped with hot plates, a microwave and a fridge. The center of Claviers is a short distance away (300 m), there is a grocery store, a bakery and a few restaurants and cafes. You will find all amenities, including large supermarkets, in Draguignan. . In the surrounding area, you will find characteristic villages such as Bargemon, Fayence, Châteaudouble, Lorgues, Flayosc, Salernes and Tourtour. The famous Thoronet Abbey is also worth a visit, as well as the Gorges du Verdon. Between Callas and La Motte, you will find the magnificent Gorges de Pennafort and the red mountains of Colle du Rouet. The Mediterranean beaches of Saint-Raphaël, Fréjus, Sainte-Maxime, Saint-Tropez and Cannes are easily accessible from your holiday home. At La Motte there is a golf course

Wir hatten einen sehr sehr schönen 2 wöchigen Familienurlaub. Zum Vermieter bestand ein sehr netter Kontakt. Der Pool und das Haus / Gelände waren sehr sauber, der Panoramablick super schön. Tolle Ausflüge nach Monaco, Nizza, Cannes, Frèjus, Grass, Fort de Brègacon, Gorge de Verdon, verschiedene Bergdörfer etc. ...... und immer wieder der Genuss des schönen Pools....,sehr zu empfehlen, Vielen Dank dafür !!

A good villa with a pool in a beautiful location.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay. The location was lovely (car needed) and the village only a short walk away. Lovely trails near by if you fancy a run or a walk. The host, Philippe, was very good with communication. Check in and check out were both easy (though do make sure you can make calls abroad). There was an inventory to check on arrival and departure - quite generic so it didn't detail every item, but more regards general condition. The house is on two floors with the main open plan living area upstairs (kitchen, sitting room, dining area, balcony, toilet, and one double bedroom with a bath and sink). Downstairs is the utility room (with washing machine, shower and toilet) and the second double bedroom. The third double bedroom is accessed from outside which worked for us but if you want to lock the main door at night then the occupants of the third bedroom cannot access the house. A second key would solve this. The bedrooms are a good size but note the beds cannot be split into two singles. Sheets/pillow cases and towels are required. Square pillow in some rooms! Overall the house is well equipped and clearly a lot of working has been done to improve the property. Shower pressure is good and the pool is a good size - 10m long and deep. Plenty of parking. TV is good and we could log into our streaming apps. WiFi connection good. In summary a solid property which suited our family - 2 adults and 2 children (9 & 11). Thanks Philippe.

Un endroit charmant

Un endroit vraiment charmant niché au cœur de la campagne. Un séjour qui aurait pu être parfait avec quelques équipements supplémentaires (cuisine, nécessaire de propreté…) et une plancha (un bbq est prévu dans les équipements mais impossible à utilisé avec les feux donc voir pour le remplacer par une plancha).

mooi huis in aangename en rustige omgeving

Een mooi en comfortabel huis in een mooie omgeving. Mooie dorpjes en stadjes in de buurt, je hebt wel voor elke verplaatsing de auto nodig en het is toch telkens even rijden door de vele bochten en het stijgen en dalen. Een aanrader voor wie op vakantie ook rust zoekt en het Provençaalse leven wil ervaren. Het huis is zoals de beschrijving en in zeer goede staat, enkel jammer dat er geen barbeque aanwezig is. Het zwembad is aangenaam en groot, het onderhoud mag misschien iets intensiever (behoorlijk wat zand op de bodem). Verder enorm genoten van het uitzicht en de ligging van deze woning, een aanrader! De eigenaar en contactpersoon ter plaatse zijn zeer vlot bereikbaar en doen er alles aan om elke vraag onmiddellijk te beantwoorden en te verhelpen. Ze stellen alles in het werk om de gasten een aangenaam verblijf te bieden.

Could be 5* with a few small changes

Stunning location, beautiful views, great property, bar a few issues as per the below. Overall property was clean, but the kitchen could have been cleaner. Unfortunately we were not advised prior to our arrival that we would need towels and sheets. This resulted in us having to buy our own. Not having these is not a problem in itself as we could have taken our own, but not being made aware meant we were without these things at 7 pm when we arrived. The weather was beautiful, around 36 degree heat. The property is fitted with an air circulation unit which was turned off. There were no fans provided and so we had to purchase two fans as well. There was one broken parasol by the pool (to cover 6 sun beds), which despite raising with both the owner and the local rep was never replaced or repaired whilst we were there. The walk to the village is only about ten minutes which is great, but is down an uneven fairly steep track. No issues with a steep uneven track, as long as you are fit and able. Aside the above, the house was as described, the pool was great and we had a super holiday . We would recommend this house, just be mindful of the areas highlighted.

La maison correspond à la description dans l’annonce. Accueil très agréable et la dame était disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Très belle piscine avec une magnifique vue sur le village. Nous recommandons cette maison.

Séjour agréable dans cette belle région

Nous sommes globalement satisfaits. Le propriétaire est agréable ainsi que la personne qui nous a reçu. Cette propriété est dans l'ensemble fonctionnelle. Dommage toutefois, pour les points suivants - Manque un grille pain, c'est toujours sympa pour le petit déjeuner - Climatisation installée mais pas en fonction lors de notre séjour - Pas de lumière le soir à la piscine ce qui peut être dangereux - quelques petits travaux à prévoir mais ils sont prévus à priori - Gros potentiel sur l'espace cuisine d'été mais pas exploité. Nous n'avons pas eu envie d'y déjeuner, de part sa situation éloignée de la maison et par son manque équipement La vue est très belle de jour comme de nuit Nous conseillons cette location

Très beau séjour !

Très jolie villa dans un très bel environnement, au calme, avec une vue incroyable sur la vallée ! La piscine est grande et superbement située. Seul regret : le manque d’équipement de la cuisine d’extérieur. Nous recommandons vivement cette villa !!!

Bonnes vacances à Claviers

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette agréable maison au cœur de la nature. La vue est magnifique et la piscine très appréciable. Simplement un WC non utilisable. Je recommande.

Agréable séjour dans l'arrière-pays varois

La propriété est conforme à la description. La maison, la piscine et la cuisine d'été sont très agréables. Les équipements sont suffisants mais la mise à disposition d'un grille pain, d'une table et d'un fer à repasser, et d'un petit réfrigérateur dans la cuisine d'été serait un plus appréciable. Nous avons signalé au propriétaire que quelques travaux d'entretien auraient dû être fait avant de mettre le bien en location. Néanmoins nous recommandons cette location.

parfait pour des vacances dans un lieu dépaysant

Grande maison avec une superbe vue dégagée sur le village perché de Claviers, de la terrasse, du salon, du jardin de la piscine, des chambres... on ne s'en lasse pas... Nous avons apprécié l'espace de la maison et son équipement (à souligner le côté pratique d'avoir 4 sdb). A noter quand même l'absence de climatisation... Grande piscine très bien entretenue.... Coin salon extérieur abrité très appréciable.... Situation géographique très calme et très bien placée pour de belles ballades dans des villages médiévaux adorables tout proches (Bargemon, Château Double...), et à mi-chemin entre les Gorges du Verdon et la côte avec Fréjus... Et puis merci à Laurette pour son accueil et ses bons conseils... Bref maison idéale pour de vraies vacances reposantes....
