"We stayed just one night, but after arriving, we should have booked it for another night, just to enjoy this beautiful place for a longer time! We saw deer in the evening and again in the morning, the grandkids chased fireflies and toasted marshmallows to make s'mores and we caught site of some fireworks over the trees. Overall awesome stay! "Had a wonderful weekend at this cottage although we had a lot of rain. Beautiful View of the river. Very well stocked with anything you may need. Only negative was it was very muddy, pretty much calf deep to get down to the water. As there has been weeks of rain lately though this is probably not normally the case. The home also had no outdoor water faucet/ hose but thankfully my son had brought a 5 gallon bucket with so we could fill it in the cottage and bring it outside to wash muddy feet...
