"This is a great spot. Close to a shopping centre and a very comfortable two bedroom townhouse. Made out stay very pleasant. "

"It was close to all things and yet people there were friendly and quiet. Lovely to go for long walks each day close to the beach and breathe in clean air. What is needed is something to be able to wash up dishes in. Also a better aerial on the tv is needed for getting the channels because audio comes through but no picture on quite a few channels. "

"Unfortunately, I hadn't read the negative reviews before I booked our stay at the Rainbow Sea Resort. While our suite had stunning views over the ocean and was attractively decorated in a Hamptons/beachy style, as shown in the promotional photos, those were the only positives. The bathroom and kitchen were in dire need of a thorough deep clean; there was grime and black mould in the bathroom, and a very unpleasant smell in the kitchen. I should also point out that, although the Resort's website...

"We actually did not stay in the property - John the owner kindly offered an upgrade to a slightly bigger town house near the beach. The townhouse is spotless clean and comfortable to stay. John himself welcomes us on arrival, he's super friendly and helpful. Thank you John for making our time in Hervey bay so enjoyable."
