"We booked two carriage house rooms for a long weekend and it was amazing. Let's start with the location. White Point Garden is directly across the street. It is an easy walk to the Battery. About a mile to Pineapple Fountain, etc. There is plenty of street parking (permit provided on check in) so you could park and walk almost anywhere. Or catch the free Dash bus nearby. "If you are looking for a true fine-dining experience where people actually dress up, save your money. This is absolutely not the place to take your date or spouse for an anniversary. We booked a stay at Hotel Bennett and dined at Gabrielle specifically because we wanted a 5-star atmosphere with a strict dress code.
