"Wonderful property in the mountains with dark skies and the milky way from horizon to horizon. The hosts were very nice and easily contacted when needed. The house was comfortable, clean, and well stocked with the essentials. Do go to the Green Bank Observatory should you stay as it was a highlight of the visit. Hope to return. "

"Check in was not as streamlined as other properties we have stayed in during our travels. Inconvenient, but not difficult. Much prefer digital door codes in lieu of having to go out of way to find office to pick up keys. The large cleaning fee was interesting considering the required cleaning list tennants MUST complete in order to not be charged even more cleaning fees. Important to note, this is only the case with VRBO managed properties. The other cabin management companies we frequently stay...

"This house is everything it says it is. Out of the way but a great place to get together with friends and family to make new memories. It rained one of the days we’re there but that was fine because there was so much room and things provided in the house that we didn’t even notice! Management was excellent"

"This was our second stay at Riverside Retreat and we hope to come back in the future. The cabin is clean, it has a great open floor plan, and the bed is super comfortable. The best feature of the property is the back porch. The view of the river is lovely and we spent hours watching the ducks, kingfishers, and hawks. Our dogs were in heaven, too!"

"Absolutely love this place, barn kitties can by annoying at times but they live there we dont. The horse is super friendly and loves attention. We loved the area and the awesome scenery for Senior pictures for our son. It is truly a unique stay for sure. "

Hot tub, spacious house, grill, pool table, ping pong, foosball, fire pit, kids stuff outside, and that doesn't even cover the natural beauty of the area. You want to be left alone? We didn't see a single car go down the road in front of the house the whole time we were there. You would be missing an amazing experience if you pass up this property. "
