"Superb stylish villa with wonderful gardens and pool. Remote control gates added a great feel of security. Table under the pergola was superb for taking meals. We cooked outside all the time as the Bbq was excellent and the local shops, especially the Sigma, had a great variety of meat and a seafood counter where we bought squid and prawns etc. There is a larger Esselunga supermarket on John F Kennedy in Lido di Camaoire but once we discovered the Sigma there was no need to return. "Cool comfortable house high in the hills. Lovely setting a mix of gardens, olive and cherry orchards and woodland. We breakfasted to the song of blackcaps with bee eaters, hoopoes and buzzards glimpsed in flight. We felt very close to wildlife. The best pool we have ever swumIn. Clear mountain air. Delightful Barga and other villages nearby. Good places to eat within 10 minites drive. Lovely hosts, nearby if we had a problem but discrete. "Our time in the villa was fantastic. The house is on the top of a hill with splendid view over the city of Camaiore which is only few min drive and close to supermarket and restaurants. The house is spacious and the outside facilities as well. . We were 6 and were able to find everyone small spots to relax and reflect while others were enjoying activities. "Our large group with small children had a wonderful time at the villa. The pool is one of the largest I’ve seen at a private property and the grounds are large and great for kids. The villa has gorgeous views and feels secluded but is only about 10 minutes to Lucca centre by car. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and there are lots of bathrooms, handy for big groups. The daily cleaning was a nice touch, the cleaners were kind and unobtrusive to our stay. Overall we had a fantastic time and...
