"It was clean and tidy and decent kitchen facilities, there was no coffee table or table to eat at so we had to eat on our laps which was not ideal. The garden could do with a gate as it's on the main road to Pwllheli - we could not let our dogs out. The garden was chipping pretty much and surrounded by a caravan motorhome storage , no plants and pretty uninviting so we never used it even though the weather was good - the garden could do with some plants. "Fantastic service and communication from the host.
Lovely, quiet retreat. You are "out on a limb", a maze of country lanes. Worth the solitude. Plenty of parking. Taxi service available.
We spent the bulk of our time visiting local towns and villages during the day. The evenings were back in the cottage for a home cooked meal.
If you fancy a fabulous Sunday Lunch, book in at Portmeirion. The per head price includes entry to the grounds. Worth every penny.
There is a fantastic Art Deco...

"Well located just a couple of miles outside Caernarfon. Only 10 minutes drive from an excellent riding stables, 20 minutes from the wonderful Dinas Dinlle beach. Pub about a mile away in Bontnewydd with some decent pub meals. Plenty of parking space at the location. Very peaceful with a comfortable outside seating space. Well equipped kitchen - only a small freezer compartment in the fridge which was absolutely fine for us but would not be suitable for anyone hoping to bring a lot of frozen food...
