"Met with cousins and spouses on Saturday with a pot luck lunch. Great to connect as we are living apart. Had a terrific visit: especially the friendly engineers on the trains."

"Some of the silverware had to be re-washed. One of the coffeemaksers had what looked like mildew at the bottom, so we used neither coffeemaker. On the pier were a couple of life jackets and the storage bins doors were wide open. Otherwise, things were excellent and we love to come back."

"We had the whole family here. My wife and I, our three daughters and grandkids for a total of 9 of us. This place was perfect for us. Plenty of rooms for all, and the large kitchen gave us lots of room for all to gather at meal time without tripping over each other. We loved the large yard where the kids could run off their energy and the large deck was a real joy. When we had a question we got answers almost immediately. That was a real bonus. Thanks for making this great home available for us...

"Enjoyed this home alot. It was extremely clean and was supplied with everything we would need for a family vacation. Not too far from Smith Mountain Lake and also had convenient restaurants and a grocery store (Food Lion) nearby."

"This was a last minute booking. One snafu with Vacasa with them not being able to verify my ID via DL but with a quick phone call that was corrected. The home itself is nice and has plenty of space and amenities. The decibel reader is a little off-putting but I understand with VA laws being the way they are. Overall, it was a nice stay."
