"Pros- house was in a good location within walking distance to campus, host was responsive, kitchen was clean and well appointed. Cons- bathroom floor grout was covered in mold/mildew, house sleeps eight but only three bath towels provided. One bedroom had the fan remote missing and got very hot, one bed was very uncomfortable. Washing machine didn’t work. "

Especially while staying, it’s helpful to k ow the host’s expectations regarding check-out. The Host was not always responsive, which was also concerning. "The place is really nice and very much worth the price. You can talk downtown in about 25 minutes or drive downtown in about 5 minutes. It is about the same distance to Sierra Nevada Brewing. The place is very nice, clean and has everything you need. The people at the management company are nice enough, if a bit disorganized. For example, after I paid, they asked me for a $150 breakage deposit, stating that it was required, when the listing clearly shows the breakage deposit as $69 and...

"This was our second stay at this ranch style home. Our daughter got married in Chico and this house was the perfect place to stay! Plenty of room for the bridesmaids to get ready, etc.. It's about 20 minutes outside of Chico but well worth the drive. The host has a lot of items for entertaining and makes sure you have everything you need."
