"Very happy with our stay at The Swan Hotel, met by friendly staff, very comfy bed in one of the coach house rooms and tasty breakfast. We also ate in the hotel on the first night and was very happy with our meal and service. Parking is to the rear of the hotel which is on the main street through Tarporley, very central and easy. Overall an excellent stay"

"We stayed with our dog - very late arrival and paid for late check out. It was nicer than we expected and the staff and services were all great. Very comfy bed. We had lunch the next day and the food (Chicken Caesar Salad especially!) was all lovely and the staff exceptional. Nice gardens. Loads of parking.

Loved all of the wood beams, crooked stairs; walls, etc. Nice bar and restaurant on main floor. Helpful staff."
"The Boathouse is on the river and next to the Grosvenor Park with is very pretty and a nice area to walk through to get to the city centre. We watched a rowing club practise right from our table at dinner.
The wait staff in the dining room were very friendly and accommodating. It was a convenient place to have dinner and the food was good. We didn’t opt for breakfast.
Our room was stylishly decorated and had a king size bed which was a nice change from other places we had stayed.
