"stayed several times, and I truly believe they kept increasing quality little by little"

"I’ve stayed already 4 times. facilities are great, no denying. when they work… Pool was closed for 3 out of the 4 nights i was staying; when asking when it would reopen I was politely told to go and find it out myself (like staff is not interested to know and inform guests?!), and finally when remaining planet conscious I asked for room service every 2 days (middle of my stay) and they missed that too. dont know what happened this time, but this is how I felt leaving the hotel"

"Lovely hotel and rooms with plenty of storage space. The rooms on ground floor have a parking space right outside with access via patio doors direct from the room which makes it easy to load/unload luggage. Bar area lovely for drinks. We didn't get chance to eat dinner at the restaurant but options on the menu looked nice. Breakfast was OK. Poached eggs tasted of vinegar but edible, bacon not too good but apart from that everything was exceptional and I would recommend staying here. Staff...

"Lovely, large room. Helpful staff. We had breakfast at the hotel each morning, and we had a wide variety of options that were well-made and tasty. 3 block walk from the train station. Convenient to walk most places you might want to visit including museums, St. James Park, the Lit and Phil, and Grainger Market."

"Basic hotel, but clean room and comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and helpful. Stay included breakfast, but limited really to takeaway style bags in which to take your choices to your room, or sit at small tables in reception. Would probably give it a miss if staying again. Location is in the middle of large industrial estate, so whilst its cheap, and ok just to put your head down for a night or two, it is limited in what it can offer to tourists."

"Lovely, clean, and comfortable room. The bed and mattress were of excellent quality, and I had a very good night's sleep. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was fantastic. The portions were generous, and the food was of a very high standard. We stayed in the family room and, unfortunately, there was a noticeable iron burn mark in the middle of the carpet. "No evening meal due to chef needing time off, staff seemed to have no idea what was happening. Only food available in the area was pizza at a hostel across the road. Breakfast room opened at 8:30 and consisted of help yourself Coco pops, croissants or toast, if you had an early start, nothing. Overall a very poor experience."
