My stay at The Read House was overall okay, but there were several issues that made it uncomfortable. There were many ladybugs in my room near the window. They did spray after I reported it, but the ladybugs were still present, and no one followed up with me after my initial complaint.
Additionally, shortly after I arrived in my room, someone entered without knocking. I reported this to the front desk, but nothing was done. It made me very uncomfortable, as I could have been changing or undressed at the time.
I was also approached in the lobby by someone who appeared to be homeless and asked me to buy them coffee. I was surprised they were able to access the lobby, as it made the environment feel less secure.
Overall, these situations made my stay less comfortable than expected.
David at the front desk was incredible had alot of knowledge about the area and was very friendly!
