They are renovating the hotel and thus the elevator floor wasn't the best but the lobby was bright and welcoming and the room while older was clean.temperatures were in single digits when we stayed so we didn't use the AC but the heating worked and kept the room comfortable. And also important given the temperature shower water was hot for all of us. "

"Great bed and breakfast, hosted by the Omsteads. The vintage decor is supported by great modern touches (lights in the right places), and an amazing location on the shores of Lake Erie. The breakfast is a highlight - great coffee, amazing, freshly made food and a great combination of fresh flavours. Margo and Keith are great local hosts, who treat you like family. You arrive as strangers and leave like great friends. "

"The main lobby area was very nice and inviting. The room at first entrance had an odour but otherwise looked clean. Upon further inspection, the carpets were very dirty and stained looking. I would recommend bringing sandals or slippers or extra socks for your feet if you choose to stay here. Lighting in the room wasn’t great.
