"The check in was easy, the house was clean and comfortable and in a convenient location. The electric fireplace was great for warming up after a cold walk on the beach. One thing to note if you are bringing dogs is that when you arrive, there is a sign asking you to try not to leave your dog unattended in the house and the info book says not to let your dogs on the furniture. Both are typically listed on the property description and would have been good to know before booking. "

"Great location. Worked out perfectly for myself and two kids (12 & 9). Walking distance to town. Inside was a cozy size and everything was updated. Well stocked with household stuff (though we only stayed one night and didn’t use much!). My son and I threw the ball around in the backyard for a bit too. Thanks again! Fun place to make memories!"

"Great location in Eastham near Orleans. Surf Shack Hideaway is not a shack, but rather a very large uncomfortable house to stay in. Would come back again, especially if managed by Heart of the Cape who kept everything clean and had quick communications."
