"The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained with good decor. The bathroom had a powerful shower and enough room around the basin for your wash bags. Lighting in the bathroom is always an issue for me (!) so as usual I had my mirror on the window sill in search of natural light. We ate in the pub on the first night, sharing a platter. Good menu. "The hotel is tired, it’s clean enough but the furniture is old and worn. Could really do with a facelift in my opinion. The room was comfortable and had what we needed, but it felt old. Great for a short break when visiting family, but we’ve stayed in better places I’m afraid. "

"This hotel is a great place to stay. The beds were really comfy,pillows were lovely and soft not like bricks under my head. The food was great in the restaurant plenty of choice, you can watch sports or sit in the garden. The bar has a wide range of drinks and snacks and a pool table. I found the room decor very tasteful however I did have an issue with the shower no fault of the hotel just a stupid design which a lot of the hotels have. "Entire property well maintained clean Breakfast buffet style seemed a little over priced Reception staff and room attendants were fabulous Spa underwhelming more akin to a gym facility which is the main use perhaps but none the less clean not crowded and convenient and good value as included in room price "

"Room was fine. Just thought a few areas were lacking. Pool use with the kids time not communicated well. Ordered out as if I knew what the times were. I just didn't get friendly vibes from certain staff there. Although there were some who were great. Paid to eat in the restaurant. Pricey and but food was nothing special. Breakfast buffet was ok. "
