"This was a very sweet space. They thought of everything! There are a few things within walking distance, but it is a little farther out from the French Quarter area. That said, it is also more affordable than other places! There is offstreet parking, which is nice, but believe it when they say only small cars will fit!"

I have a fragrance allergy and didn't see that about the scents until at the airport reading the check in material that was sent to me right before our stay (this material was well thought out and great!). You can buy candles in the scent of each room if you'd like, which is something that others probably really like. I called and they removed a diffuser or air...

"Amazing hotel with outstanding staff and service! The staff provided all information we needed and suggested great, interesting places to visit since it was our first time in Charleston. We also used the bikes that are available for a nice morning stroll. Jim is a true gentlemen, it was a blast having him assist us! The hotel is definitely worth it! "

"The breakfast was a huge disappointment. The pastry which was dry, cold and had tiny bits of sausage was terrible. Paying $350-400 per night we expected better. But the biggest irritation was seeing a $2800 charge on my credit card. The room was $1388 for 4 night. It took 3 people at the hotel to get an explanation. The explanation made no sense. It was to insure that extras would be paid!!!! We travel 100 days a year for many years. This was not only a first but nobody had a good...

Staff were all so fantastic from helping us check in early, to restaurant recommendations to facilitating our bag storage while we checked out and went to tour College of Charleston (reason for our trip).
