This is not a typical short-term rental; it is not a renovated dependency or a newly constructed unit in an old neighborhood, nor is it situated on a tiny lot in a questionable or remote area. The old hardwood floors, tall ceilings, original moldings, plasterwork, windows, and doors exude a special warmth, character, and charm that is very difficult to achieve in new construction. The exterior copper roof and guttering provide additional warmth and character. It's the real deal!

House Rules:

- No amplified music. This includes portable speakers in the shared courtyards.

- Quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM – Be respectful of neighbors.
- Check-in: 4:00 PM | Check-out: 10:00 AM.
- Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight.
- Any decorations must be secured using painter’s tape only to avoid damage to walls.
- Guests must follow trash disposal instructions provided by the host.
- Please return all items and furniture to their original locations.

Charleston Girls Trip!

We had a lovely time in Charleston and this home was a wonderful place to rest after a full day of shopping or beach time! We had a few minor issues but the host was very quick to respond and excellent communication throughout our stay. The home was very clean and provided all the amenities you could want. The only downside is the stairs to get to the unit, as it was a bit difficult lugging our bags, but we truly loved our stay and would definitely come back here!!!

St. Phillips Square

I cannot say enough about this place. We absolutely loved it and I hold a very high bar. Clean with all the conveniences. Being able to sit on the porch and in the courtyard was an extra, wonderful bonus. I have already told many family members and friends that if they are ever in Charleston, I have the place for them to stay.

Perfect place for a weekend stay

Property was well maintained and the host even had sound machines for all of the bedrooms. The parking was easy and the lock info for door entry was very well explained. I loved the location to King street shops and all of the restaurants. Will definitely be back maybe for a girls weekend at this property. We loved it

Great Location

This property was a great location for both driving and walking. Good parking and close to King street and neighborhood eateries. Good communication regarding checkin and checkout. The living space was good. One of the bedrooms is a little tight for two people but would be perfect for one. Our only issue was the washing machine did not work and we had to call a couple of times to get fresh towels. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend.

St. Philips Square VRBO Very Functional For 6

Our only criticism is that for the first 2 days we were under the possible threat of maybe getting towed as we were given only 1 parking pass yet had 3 vehicles. Jamie said we were ok on Friday but might have to move Saturday morning. There were few people there until Saturday afternoon. We never heard back and one of our party left Sunday morning early so we assumed we were ok. Our host hasn't reached out since we left Monday. Security deposit refund?

Great spot right off King Street!

6 of us enjoyed this property for a bachelorette weekend, it was a perfect spot! Walking distance from great bars and restaurants, and only a half hour walk from waterfront park and the ocean. The porch was a great place to hang out, and the property was well maintained and easy to access.

Great time

We had a great time at this property! It was clean and in a great location. The only issue is that the description said it slept 8 people with 3 beds and a pullout couch. Our first night we went to use the pull out couch and there was a piece of paper stating that it was broken since 06/20/24 and that we would have to use the air mattress in the closet. I did not appreciate this as it felt sneaky, and we were expecting to have the pullout as a sleeping option. I feel we paid too much per night for two of us to have to sleep on an air mattress.

Just perfect!

This was one of the best VRBO rentals we have ever stayed in. It was spotless, perfectly furnished and stocked and was within walking distance of shopping, and the historic district. Rental agent was superior!

Location, Location, Location!

This was a great property for CofC graduation! The location was ideal as we were able to walk to the graduation ceremony. Onsite parking was a major plus as was the very inviting porch with ample seating for 6. This property had spacious bedrooms, nice bathrooms, very comfortable living room (especially the couch), and a kitchen that was suitable for meal prep. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay

Great For The Family

This is a beautiful, historic , Charleston style unit. Plenty of space. We had five in our party but could have had two more without an issue. The unit was very very clean. Came equipped with everything we needed. Yummy smelling Dove soap product to are a nice touch. Beds are very comfortable. Towels are soft. And again CLEAN. Washer and dryer are small so we did one small load per day. Super convenient. On-site parking is great. Location is great. Several coffee shops, yummy donuts, bagels, breakfast spots and food choices within a five minute walk. The market and historic sites near the water front are about a 15-20 mi it’s walk away. I loved sitting outside in the morning with my cup of tea. The porches have beautiful plants and plenty of seating. This unit also has a small private patio with a table which was nice. Our only complaint is noise. There’s lots of noise during the day from trucks and workers. One night there was also a very loud party a block away. Obviously not the fault of the property owners and management. It is a city after all. We definitely would stay at one of the properties onsite again.

Family wedding in Charleston

We loved our stay at St Philips Square. My family shared two units. Both were clean, well appointed with comfy beds and cute decor. Jamie very promptly answered any questions we had. Would definitely stay again when next in Charleston.

A great Charleston experience

A girl’s trip to see Charleston. This apartment was great. Very clean , everything was as advertised. Property Manager, Jamie was terrific and even offered to come over at 10:30 pm to help with a TV issue. So nice to have a manager that responded.
