"I was very disappointed with my stay at Wyndham Corpus Christi Resort North Padre Island. The first issue occurred before we even got into our room. We arrived early and were told our room was available and ready, yet the hotel wanted to charge an additional $80 just to check in a few hours early. Charging that much for access to an empty room that was already prepared felt excessive and left a poor first impression. Unfortunately, things did not improve after check-in.
