"A glorious stay in room 412 which for us (couple and 4y/o on a sofa bed) was absolutely perfect. Double balcony with the most wonderful views, well proportioned room with everything we could need and a very nice touch of a complimentary welcome Salcombe Gin & Tonic in our room!

"We booked very last minute, due to an unforeseen problem with our holiday cottage. When we arrived it was literally 5 mis before they stopped serving food BUT the chap said I'll go and ask the chef .,. He did and we enjoyed a very hearty excellent steak and ale pie each. "Staff were really helpful and kind. Room was immaculate, bathroom was spotless and linens were high-quality and pristine. Bed was comfy, and some nice touches like local treats and toiletries. The breakfast was really good quality and reasonably priced.
Biggest downside is that the room was cramped— we were on a several-day trip, so it was hard to manage our large suitcases in the space. Would have also helped to have some more hooks or something to hang clothes and towels from.
