"Highly recommend! The one bedroom suite plus two beds and kitchenette was perfect for our family of 4. Great communication, easy parking and clear directions. Two of us rented fishing gear from the Tackle Shop below the Inn and enjoyed the fishing hole across the street and at the end of the Spit at low tide thanks to the friendly, helpful staff. The other two family members enjoyed the perfect location for enjoying the shops, marina and beach. Our meals at The Broken Oar within short walk were...

"The two-night stay was great, in a calm and quiet place, even though it was close to the Alaska Railway. The room was tidy and functional, the service was excellent, and the owner was a wonderful person. The location was very close to Exit Glacier, one of Seward's land attractions. Oh, the stay reminded me of my childhood and youth scouting days."

"The property was very clean & breakfast was excellent. Beautiful scenery & great location to the Main Street & restaurants. My only complaint was the noise upstairs was a lot any time someone walked or moved around. Other than that no complaints whatsoever."

"I was visiting family in Alaska and the Forrestlane Cottage was perfect. The location was close by and the cottage itself was ideal. The footprint is small and cozy, and the place was clean and exceptionally well maintained, with everything I needed for a quick trip. The hosts were very responsive to any questions that I had and helpful throughout my visit. I would highly recommend this property and will to look to book again any time I'm in the area."

"The host provided good directions and check in instructions. We had a very nice stay. The cottage was very clean and quiet. We felt very safe. Please note, upon entering, the renter should read the set of instructions left by the host. We didn’t, and we ended up fiddling with the heater, and then we had to contact the host. Our host was very responsive and showed up right away to explain how to control the heater. The host was very friendly. I would recommend this cottage for any couple."
