"The room was fine, not exceptional, for me, as I was only staying for 6 nights. I hadn't booked breakfast as it was only offered on a Sunday, but there is a "Sandwich Stop" attached to the hotel in the car park. Parking was adequate, but trying to exit onto the busy main road was a nightmare, as the hedges were so overgrown and hadn't been trimmed, so it was impossible to see traffic approaching from both directions. "We had a single night's stay here on a Saturday night. They had 3 functions ongoing, with 2 of them relatively noisy. People outside our bedroom window chatting loudly until nearly midnight. Nothing wrong with people enjoying themselves but there should be advance warning and a discount if the hotel is really full with functions. "A nice hotel off the M1. Plenty of parking. A warm welcome on arrival. All staff were very pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. Very handy that there was air con in the room. Disappointing that the windows were locked, they should NOT be. Cooked and continental breakfast was good. A excellent hotel due to its location for business or touring."

"In general the hotel was of a good standard the food was very good at breakfast I feel that it lacked choice and beverages should of been more accessible. The bedroom was of a very good standard but lacked a blind so that the curtains could be open and still have privacy where as now once the curtains are open there is no privacy and people can look in from the car park. The shower area could do with a shelf for the shampoo and body wash or dispenser."

I booked it thru Hotels.com app. It's my new go to app for travel related bookings after the poor treatment I got from Booking.con who refused me a refund on a booking that I couldn't use because the owner has changed the code on the key box and not updated this information on booking.con. "Clean room & Clean inside overall. The member of staff on duty on Saturday was extremely helpful. Appliances need to be checked for safety & other guests should remember to close doors carefully especially after 11pm. All in all a good stay & cool room very welcome on a hot weekend."
