"We had a death in our family and a storm which prevented us from coming both days but overall the property was clean, convenient and welcoming. My only bad experience was that my bed fell at some point during the night for no reason. Other than that it was good. The property is close to the beach and Mac Daddy's arcade. The kids enjoyed that"

With the changes many of the military families go through, he was very kind and understanding, and was accommodating to all of our needs. I highly recommend his property for coming down to the area, especially if you have family at Camp Lejeune."

"We enjoyed our short stay (4 nts) at this Emerald Isle Retreat. The location is great - walking distance to many restaurants and close to the bike trail. It's just a few minutes walk down the street (10 houses or so) to the neighborhood's private beach boardwalk. The neighborhood looks like most homes are owner-occupied, so the beach was not too crowded. The house was clean and neat, and it was more than sufficient for our stay. We did not cook in the kitchen or use the grill, but it seems...

It was very peaceful and this beautiful place literally had everything we needed! Communication with the host was always great, and we no issues whatsoever with our stay!! We truly had the best vacation here and are so thankful to have found this place!! The walk to the beach was an easy 3-4 minute walk, and we so appreciated the chairs there...
