"The garage conversion to a casita is pretty good, the reason we are rating it average is the lack of privacy. The blinds, if you can call them that, offer no privacy. There are no curtains or any other type of blind to close. You are able to see into theentite sleeping/living area from the street. This also means any lights in the main house illuminate the casita. Simply adding blackout blind or a simple curtain within the boho theme would work. This really is a significant issue as it feels...

"This is a nice property for a weekend stay. A beautiful view and a short walk to downtown. There are porches upstairs and downstairs to relax and enjoy your time."

"We just love the live music and people in Austin. Our little cottage was perfect for the two of us. We appreciated the cleanliness. We will definitely stay again! "

The property management was very nice and accommodating; they also provided information about the local area which we found helpful. The house was spotless. The outdoor area looked fun, although the weather didn't permit for us to enjoy it. I genuinely have nothing negative to say. We will rebook if we return to the area."

"This was not as advertised. There isn't a safe path to the water, and once you get there it looks post-apocolyptic at best thanks to the alligator gar skeletons and murky water. Also, this says it sleeps 4, but there's only a full size bed in the corner of the room. So it sleeps 2 uncomfortably close. We left shortly after we arrived."

"Wife and I wanted to get away for a quick trip to take our dog hiking and see the Harry Potter thing they had in Bastrop. This place was a great, easy location for trails and coffee shops around. Nice driveway to use and the bedding was very comfortable! "

"We’ll start with the positives: owner was responsive to questions and concerns; location was a short walk to The Island where we could watch the sunset over the water. Beyond that it was, sadly, a disappointment. The front yard/entry was overgrown so the entry path wasn’t useable. The house itself is dated and shows obvious wear, and hadn’t been used in a while. There were clumps of dust in the corners, burrs in the carpet, old, mismatched, dirty dishes & glasses and so much mold in the master...
