We love this place! It’s a fantastic location close to everything in town, as well as great trails and outdoor areas. Super clean, beautifully furnished and well maintained. Beds are comfortable and all the extras they provide make it such a great home away from home. The owners are always quick to respond and very helpful. It’s a favorite of ours!

Check in was a breeze. We were able to park directly in front of the unit which was perfect for my husband. He was the one who used the internet and had no problems at all. The kitchen had most of what we needed and it was a nice space to work in.

This was our 2nd time staying at the Black Sheep Inn, both times 5 STARS!! The unit is spotless and has everything you need. The walking path is a great bonus. We were able to enjoy the outdoor area during this stay, and we loved it.

Home away from home

My mom and I stayed here while visiting my 19 year old son. We could not have been happier. The place is beautiful, easy to get in / out of (no steps for my mom), located at the base of the foothills with access to the park, creek and local amenities. This will be a go to place for visits.

Outstanding Location

We loved the Black sheep inn! Very clean space in an outstanding location. Cedar city as a whole was a great "Basecamp" to all the surrounding areas. The washer and dryer was a great amenity for a national park trip. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions. I'd highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to visit southern Utah.

Highly Recommend!

The property was exactly as described and pictured! My kids loved the swing and corn hole and we loved being able to walk right down on to the walking path! I also loved the personal touches about the sheep and the meaning behind it all! We will absolutely be coming back to stay for a longer visit next time!

Great stay

Wanted to try out Cedar City instead of staying in Brian ahead for a winter ski trip. Drive was not bad at all each day and it was nice to come out of the snow for the rest of the day. Property is super clean, well decorated and adequately supplied with all you need. Great views out the back with nice public park within 100 yards. Definitely gonna stay again.

Wonderful location - spotlessly clean

I am so happy I found this place! I travel to the area frequently for business and also for hiking/biking, and this place feels like a five star condo compared to anywhere else I have stayed in Cedar. Brand new everything, and all very clean. Guest book was helpful and thorough. We loved the mountain views and SO MANY STARS at night. The host stopped by to help make sure we got in, and was very nice and helpful.

We loved everything about this place. It’s lovely and welcoming inside and out. Thoughtfully designed and works really well. It’s very quiet and in a great location nestled by the ridge with a walking path right out the back door and park nearby. Hosts were great with communication and very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

The selfish side of me does not want to leave a review hoping my chances that this property will still be available the next time I’m traveling to the area but that would not be fair to the property owners trying to run a successful business. We loved our stay! It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and just as advertised. It had everything that we needed, it was welcoming, comfortable, & was easy to feel at home. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one sofa bed, & a kitchen, it was perfect for our stay. We will try to stay here every time we stay in the area. Thanks for providing such a nice place to relax while away from home!

Parents Weekend at SUU

Went up for Parents weekend (Homecoming) at SUU. It’s my son’s last year. We had a great weekend. When we weren’t attending activities at the school, or grocery shopping, we were able to just hang out in the townhouse together. The decorations are unique, the unit is clean & comfortable. The scenery is beautiful. We definitely will be back for another visit.

A new favorite!

We absolutely loved this space. It’s clean, beautifully furnished and sits in an amazing picturesque location that feels far away, but puts you within minutes of everything. They had every amenity we needed and the beds were super comfortable, but some of our favorite parts were the small, thoughtful, extra touches they incorporated. We will for sure make this our new go-to every year when we come to Cedar City!

Cedar Canyon Gem

The Black Sheep Inn is as lovely as the online profile suggests! When we arrived after the 4 hr. flight from Ohio to Vegas & then driving 2.5 hrs. to Cedar City it was like a breath of fresh air opening the door to our unit! Clay & Teresa clearly take pride in their property & we enjoyed every minute we were there. The view of Cedar Canyon is stunning & being steps from the trail was a big plus! LOVED our stay & will again when we return to see our daughter perform in the Utah Shakespeare Festival!

United with Friends in Utah

A wonderful location, not far from Brian Head. There were 4 families and we rented each unit. Each unit had it's own unique charmed, loved it. It was brand new everything that you need, from laundry pods to multiple trash bags (not just one). Next to a park and a few minutes from the grocery store. The best place to be in you have a large family and want to be together. Thanks so much!
