Our trip started with an ant problem in our bathroom, which spooked my daughters (aged 5 and 8). Since there were no other family rooms available in the main house, the staff kindly moved us into one of their outdoor cottages. "Cottage was clean cosy and comfortable. It is about 15 mins drive to castle douglas. Owners live next door so easy to contact with minor issues. We were familiar with local area as visited frequently before."
