Villa la Ghiandaia is located at the beginning of the beautiful Valle di Chio, 2.5 km from Castiglion Fiorentino, a town of Etruscan origin (Oppidum Etrusco Archaeological Museum of Castiglion Fiorentino).

The origins of Villa la Ghiandaia date back to the 17th century. Originally the property was a country house, identified as “Farmhouse”. From the 17th century the house has been modified several times, assuming from the end of the 19th century. - early 20th century the current structural features, such as the external stone staircase and the typical loggia. The garden is large, sunny, wooded, fenced, and it has lawn and flowers, some dining tables and a barbecue. From the beautiful infinity pool (14 m x 5 m) you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding hills, and the town of Castiglion Fiorentino.

Guests have access to a private covered parking for two cars.



Internal Description



Villa la Ghiandaia is spread over two floors and can accommodate up to 6 people, has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Included Internet Wifi and pedestal fans; all windows are equipped with mosquito nets. Pets are not allowed. It is forbidden to organize parties and events.



Ground floor: You are welcomed by a large open-space, a dining room, and a living room expertly furnished with two sofas and a large armchair, fireplace, desk and tv. The kitchen is equipped with oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and toaster. The service bathroom is adjacent to the internal staircase that gives access to the upper floor.



Upper floor: There are 2 double bedrooms, one bedroom with 2 single beds, two bathrooms with shower, and a wardrobe room. Also on this floor there is a living room with direct access to the outdoor furnished loggia.

The laundry is accessed from an external door on the ground floor.

Prices and conditions



Included in the price: Utilities (water, gas, electricity except heating); house, garden and pool maintenance; Internet Wifi; weekly mosquitoes disinfestation (use of eco-friendly products).



Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (150.00€); heating according to consumption during the winter months. Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).



Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 300.00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon any damages.
